JUNE MONTH OF THE PEARL | DARWIN

Pax: 100 Type: SPECIAL EVENT SERIES Location: WHARF ONE, DARWIN

Set against the backdrop of Darwin Harbour, the June Month of the Pearl event honoured the legacy of the Paspaley pearl, a story shaped by adventure, nature and time. Guests entered through a sculptural rope installation into a glowing waterfront setting, where festoon lights and a custom neon reflected across the water as the Strawberry Moon rose.

The evening unfolded as an experiential journey paying tribute to the artistry and resilience of the pearling industry, an adventure forged through generations. Live cooking stations fired up the senses with open flames and curated dishes inspired by native flavours and elemental techniques, led by chef Aaron Teece whose approach echoed the purity of the pearl’s origins.

A harpist and acoustic performer provided a musical interlude that blended classical elegance with a contemporary feel, while interactive branded moments invited guests to engage with the story behind the collection.
